Animotion, Juice Newton, Missing Persons, PM Dawn, and Shannon were the five performers on the finale of Hit Me Baby One More Time. Animotion performed “Obsession” and “Days Go By.” Juice Newton performed “Queen of Hearts” and “Pieces of Me.” Missing Persons performed “Words” and “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.” PM Dawn performed “Set A Drift on Memory Bliss” and “Blurry.” Shannon performed “Let the Music Play” and “Foolish.”
NBC’s Hit Me Baby One More Time has turned into a hit reality TV show. Realityblurred.com recently reported on an article in the Chicago Tribune that says NBC has already decided to add additional episodes. On the June 16, 2005 episode of Hit Me Baby One More Time, five groups/singers performed one of their old hits as well as a cover of a modern song.
We must admit if you had asked us five years ago if we thought it was more likely that we would see the apocalypse or see Vanilla Ice become cool again in our lifetime, then our money would have been on the apocalypse. Hit Me Baby One More Time featured five bands or singers performing their greatest hit as well as a cover to a popular contemporary song. The five groups/singers performing on the premiere were Loverboy, CeCE Peniston, A Flock of Seagulls, Arrested Development, and Tiffany. All were a few years older and many pounds heavier than most probably remember them.
