My Kind of Town Announces First Four Towns

The first four towns to be celebrated in "My Kind of Town," ABC’s new comedic reality series, are: Bordentown City, New Jersey; Greenville, Alabama; Ellenville, New York; and Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Residents of each town will be brought to New York City to attend the tapings, participate in the show and possibly win a fantastic prize. The hour-long series, hosted by London TV and radio sensation Johnny Vaughan, will spotlight a different town every week and will debut later this summer. Three more cities will be announced at a later date; the initial series episode order is seven.

My Kind Of Town – New Reality Show Announced by ABC

In keeping with its tradition of upbeat, wish fulfillment-based reality television, the ABC Television Network is announcing a late-summer series, "My Kind of Town." This one-hour variety/comedy hybrid show from Embassy Row’s Michael Davies ("Who Wants to Be a Millionaire") and Will Macdonald and David Granger ("Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush") of the UK indie production company Monkey, celebrates small-town America each week in a completely original and hilarious way. The initial order is six episodes, with production beginning in mid-July.
