Next Great American Band Results Shocker – Franklin Bridge Eliminated

FranlinbridgeeliminatedOn the third Next Great American Band results show, one band was
eliminated and the top seven bands performed a Leiber and Stoller song
in front of the judges.  Light of Doom performed the Leiber and Stoller
song “Jailhouse Rock.”  John Rzeznik said “I’m speechless.  What can I
say?”  Shelia E. said “Rockfabolous, that’s what it is.”  Dicko said
“You’re becoming more and more watchable every single week.”

Top Seven Bands Perform On Next Great American Band

On the first Next Great American Band results show, The Hatch and The
Likes Of You
were eliminated from the competition.  Last week, Rocket
and The Muggs
were sent packing.  This week, there will be only one
band out of the top eight going home.

eliminated and the top eight bands performed a Billy Joel song in front
of the judges.  Franklin Bridge performed the Billy Joel song “Big
Shot.”  John Rzeznik said “Wow, that was amazing.”  Shelia E. said
“Everybody in the house was rocking.  It was awesome.”  Dicko said “You
are fantastic musicians, and I can see why.”

The Next Great American Band Top Twelve Bands Revealed

RocketnextbandOn the premiere of The Next Great American Band, bands from all genre types auditioned
in front of the three judges: Dicko, Shelia E., and John Rzeznik.  Host
Dominic Bowden introduced the bands.  Just like with American Idol,
there were good and bad auditions.  However, with only one two hour
episode focused on the auditions, the show emphasized the good bands.

The Next Great American Band Premieres Tonight

The long wait is finally over, and one of the most anticipated new
reality TV shows of the Fall season premieres tonight.  Sure, the show
is buried in the Friday night time spot that proved to be a quick
demise for Nashville, but it’s from the producers of American Idol.
