On the premiere of Wanted Ted or Alive 2, the contestants arrive in police cars, and Big Jim handcuffs them together and leads them into the ranch. The new contestants are Bridgetta, Will, David, Terry, and Stevie. The first challenge is a race to the camp, involving digging in the dirt, racing ATVs, chasing chickens, and raising an American flag. The winner of the first challenge is Will, and he collects $500 as his prize. Stevie comes in second place and wins $250.
This January, as people around the world ring in the New Year with traditional vows to change one aspect of their lives, five city slickers will be forced to change every aspect of their lives when they try to prove they have what it takes to survive a week in the wilderness, competing against one another in challenges of survival and outdoor skill, on the Michigan ranch of rock n’ roll legend, wildlife conservationist and lifelong hunter Ted Nugent.
The first season of Wanted Ted or Alive on OLN proved to be a rating’s hit. According to TedNugent.com, Wanted Ted or Alive was OLN’s highest rated original series of 2005. The first run of the series also generated a great deal of controversy when one contestant repeatedly spit at another contestant in order to win a challenge. Will the second season be just as controversial? Reality TV Magazine recently got the scoop from a contestant named Stevie who will be appearing on the second season of the series, which will debut on OLN on Sunday, January 8, at 10 p.m. ET.
The first season of OLN’s Wanted Ted or Alive with Ted Nugent came to an end with bad-guy Joey triumphing over good-guy Carl in the series finale. Joey and Carl did not appear to get along for most of the series, but things really became ugly when Joey spit at Carl during one the challenges. Carl recently gave Reality TV Magazine the full details on the spitting incident and explained why he thinks Joey didn’t deserve to win.
The Wanted Ted or Alive finale starts off with a continuation of the scarecrow challenge from the previous episode. The scarecrow challenge comes down to Joey and Carl. Joey tries the tactic of spitting on Carl. While trying to dodge Joey’s spit, Carl breaks one of the rules of the competition by letting his other foot touch the post. Joey wins the challenge and a $5,000 reward.
On this week’s Wanted: Ted or Alive, a freshly shaved Carl gets to go hunting with Ted Nugent. While Carl is away hunting, Big Jim assigns chores for the rest of the contestants. Carl takes a shot at a deer and drops it with a single bullet. After the kill, Carl and Ted share an emotional moment.
Ted Nugent certainly isn’t likely to get a sponsorship from PETA or Best Buy for his new reality show Wanted: Ted or Alive. In the second episode of the series, Nugent offers $5,000 to the contestant who cooks him the best chicken dinner. The twist being they have to kill the chicken they are going to cook themselves. Most of the contestants chop their chickens’ heads off with an axe, except for Shannon (an events coordinator and wardrobe assistant) who winds up killing the chicken with her bear hands.
