I have been lucky enough to sit in the studio audience for the last 14 Survivor finales. There really is nothing cooler than being a Survivor fan and getting to watch it all unfold in person. The Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites finale proved strange in a variety of ways, which many of you have pointed out. VIDEO Survivor: Caramoan Red Carpet Interview — Erik Reichenbach Reveals Real Reason For His Medical Evacuation

Although he made it deep in the game, Erik Reichenbach’s presence on Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites was nearly non-existent. But he quickly became the main focus at the start of the season finale — but only for a few minutes as he was suddenly on his back facing the medical team who ultimately removed him from the game due to a medical emergency. After that, Erik essentially disappeared once again until he blasted Sherri Biethman at the final Tribal Council for getting to the end of the game simply by being a goat. When I had the chance to chat with Erik on the red carpet immediately following the finale and live reunion show, he voiced his disappointment that people in the studio audience like former castaways Rudy Boesch and Boston Rob Mariano got more airtime than most of the current castaways at their own finale. He also offered an in-depth explanation of the exact reason he was medically evacuated, which he feels wasn’t accurately portrayed on the show. Head inside the article to see the video interview.

VIDEO Survivor: Caramoan Red Carpet Interview — Boston Rob Mariano & His (Very Real) Book Of Rules

When Boston Rob Mariano appeared on the Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites live reunion show, we were all asking the same question: Was the rulebook he gave Phillip Sheppard the real deal? Turns out, it actually is. “The Boston Rob Rulebook: Strategies For Life” is a 75-page book that offers up various tips and advice, some of which include: know who you are, be a risk taker, nobody likes a crybaby, zip it, get organized and family comes first, always. Boston Rob says his motivation for writing the book came after watching Phillip create the “BR Rules” while competing on Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites. I had the chance to chat with the Survivor: Redemption Island champ on the red carpet of the Survivor: Caramoan finale in which he gushed about the life lessons that fill his book. He also explained why he thinks Cochran was a deserving winner, discusses that he believes he could win the game again and revealed where he was the day of the fatal Boston Marathon explosions. VIDEO Survivor: Caramoan Red Carpet Interview — Eddie Fox & His Dog Bar Business Idea. Genius Or Silly?

When Eddie Fox mentioned during the Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites finale that he wanted to win the game and its $1 million so he could open a dog bar, the in-studio audience erupted in laughter. His aspirations became a mockery. Was this concept serious or was it just Eddie being goofy? Turns out, he’s not joking. Shortly after the finale and live reunion show, I spoke with Eddie on the red carpet about his business idea — which he admits is hard for him to explain well. During our discussion, Eddie also explained the moment Malcolm Freberg gave him an Immunity Idol during Tribal Council and revealed he didn’t believe he could have beat Cochran had he made it to the final three. VIDEO Survivor: Caramoan Red Carpet Interview — Sherri Biethman Wanted To Tell Jury “F*ck You!”

“Sorry, but f*** you.” That’s what Sherri Biethman says she wished she could have told some of the jury members who blasted her during the final Tribal Council on Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites. “I knew I couldn’t say that on TV, so I had the attitude of screw you. Sit down. I don’t have your vote, so don’t talk to me. I don’t need to hear your bullshit. Buh-bye. I’m done with you and I don’t have to play this game with you anymore.” She definitely didn’t hold anything back when I spoke with her on the red carpet just moments after the finale and live reunion show. During out chat, Sherri unleashed her feelings on the way the jury treated her, described her thoughts on John Cochran’s victory and explained how exhausting Dawn Meehan‘s constant crying was.

VIDEO Survivor: Caramoan Red Carpet Interview — Dawn Meehan Stunned By Brenda Lowe’s Request To Pull Out Her Teeth

The Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites finale delivered one of the most emotionally driven requests at the final Tribal Council when Brenda Lowe asked Dawn Meehan to pull out her fake bottom teeth. Clearly feeling betrayed that Dawn voted her out of the game, Brenda wanted Dawn to feel humiliated in front of the jury for turning against her when she thought they were tight friends — especially after she helped Dawn find her missing teeth in the ocean. It was a polarizing move that had the in-studio audience gasping, giggling and cheering as it seemed many felt it was due justice after Dawn’s betrayal, which had many of you fired up as well. Dawn, who made it to the final three, did pull out her teeth and grimaced for the cameras — but the move didn’t garner her a single vote. On the red carpet immediately after the finale and live reunion show, I had the chance to chat with Dawn about her emotional time on the show, her reaction to Brenda during the final Tribal Council and how she’s dealing with the negativity being tossed her direction online.

VIDEO Survivor: Caramoan Red Carpet Interview — John Cochran Lives The Survivor Dream

This isn’t just a $1 million victory. Nope. For John Cochran, winning Survivor: Caramoan — Fans Vs. Favorites is a dream come true. This self-admitted, buff-collecting nerd climbed to the top and walked away from season 26 with the title of sole Survivor — something he never dreamed would be possible when he started watching the show’s first season in 2000 as a kid. I had the chance to chat with Cochran on the red carpet immediately after he was revealed as the winner during the finale in Los Angeles. In his very candid, charming manner, Cochran went in depth about making the “social suicide” decision of wearing buffs in high school, explained which buff is his favorite, described how surreal it is to win the game and dished the dirt on his relationship status. Eddie Fox Would Love Another Shot At Survivor

Survivor: Caramoan Recap — Medical Elimination And An Obvious Winner

How is it possible that we’ve already arrived at the season finale of Survivor? And continuing on that thread, how on Earth are we already finishing up season 26? Time flies when you’re watching people duke it out on a reality television show! On tonight’s Fans Vs Favorites episode, we get to see the pool of surviving castaways whittled down to just four. It’s almost time to learn the identity of this season’s winner!
