Today it was announced that Sci-Fi is doing just that. Ghost Hunters has been picked up for 13 more episodes, as part of its fourth season. Destination Truth will return this fall with seven more episodes as part of its second season.
Ghost Hunters follows the paranormal exploits of Roto-Rooter plumbers, Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes, as the TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) team hunts for evidence of ghosts. Proud debunkers by nature, TAPS uses high-tech equipment and personal experience to validate or repudiate claims of those who believe their space is invaded by the unknown. Ghost Hunters remains one of cable’s hottest reality series, especially popular with women. Viewers can expect, as part of the 13 new episodes, a third live Halloween episode in October.
Destination Truth stars Josh Gates, who travels to the far reaches of the world to investigate claims of oddities and strange creatures. Josh and his team use high-tech equipment, research, local stories, and personal experience to prove or disprove such myths and mysteries as The Yeti, The Death Worm, and more. Josh’s destination: the truth.
