A reform school for boys, better known as Preston Castle in California, housed the next investigation for the TAPS team on Ghost Hunters. Built and opened in 1894, the facility was used to hold boys who were as young as 12. Although it has been closed for 50 years, many of the spirits haven’t seemed to leave the building in which some people died brutally.
The Ghost Hunters headed back to New Jersey, but this time to a location suggested by Dave Tango’s father. He had his own personal experience there one day when he was getting a tour. He claimed somebody had placed a hand on his shoulder, gripped firmly and pulled him back, but when he turned around there was nobody there. By far, this was the best episode of the season. What did they find? If you’re brave enough, read on…
It was all about New Jersey phantoms on tonight’s episode of Ghost Hunters. First up, the TAPS team went to Atlantic City to search for spirits at a haunted lighthouse. After that, they investigated stories of spooks at a house where the author of “The Red Badge Of Courage” once lived.
In a way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the team on Ghost Hunters investigated a haunted Irish pub — Paddy Reilly’s Pub in New York City. At the creepy location there were reports of strange sounds, shadows, doors that close on their own and full-bodied apparitions. But there were also situations where one person claimed to see a spirit riding an exercise bike with somebody else spotting a ghost that looks like Gene Hackman.
With Grant’s family sick, Steve was taking his place as the TAPS team traveled to upstate New York to seek spirits at Fort Ticonderoga in tonight’s Ghost Hunters. The Fort had played important roles in a few wars, which resulted in many deaths at the location. Their tour guide started discussing the paranormal activity that has taken place at the facility — like a woman who spotted the outline of a figure in an attic window. Then there have been reports of hearing footsteps from a floor above. But that’s not all, some of the staff have reported seeing balls of light while some have spotted a shadowy figure walking outdoors from tree to tree.
For five frightening years, the TAPS team has been searching for spirits all over the country. Tonight, SyFy‘s biggest hit — Ghost Hunters — kicked off the new season with a two-hour special to celebrate its 100th episode. In their latest investigation, the now well-known spirit seekers hit Alcatraz. Scattered throughout the investigation were live interviews with the TAPS team where they answered questions from viewers.
In Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, the TAPS team on Ghost Hunters went investigating at an old building to see if they could find evidence to support all of the paranormal claims. During their tour, they heard reports of all sorts of creepy happenings. On the third floor, the tour guide refused to enter one room since it made her uncomfortable. Right after the investigation started, Jason and Grant were on the third floor when they heard the sounds of footsteps coming up the steps after them. There was nobody there. This place started spookin’ right away!
After a week off, Ghost Hunters has returned to SyFy with an all-new episode. This time they ventured to Mark Twain’s house in Hartford, Connecticut. He had lived there with his family for 20 years and it’s reported that his youngest daughter actually died there. But the main thing the TAPS team was interested in — there are loads of ghostly happenings reported within the home.
Another haunted lighthouse hit the radar for the Ghost Hunters team over on SyFy. These types of locations always seem to bring the creepiest content — would the Pensacola Lighthouse in Florida live up to some of the other lighthouses the TAPS team has investigated?
Some very interesting footage was captured during Wednesday night’s episode of Ghost Hunters. Built in 1837, a museum in New Hampshire was one site the TAPS team went to investigate — and the evidence they captured made it worthwhile. Upon arriving at the Amos Blake House, a caretaker took them on a tour of the building while telling them stories of paranormal experiences. Some of the instances included a ghost boy, phantom cat, full-bodied appartions and doors that close on their own.
