NBC’s unscripted laughfest "Last Comic Standing" will return to the
schedule this summer with new host Bill Bellamy, new talent scouts
including "Last Comic Standing" alumni Alonzo Bodden, Ant and Kathleen
Madigan — and an all new quest — to find the funniest new comedian in
the world. The Emmy-nominated series broadens its scope this season by
searching internationally for the world’s funniest comedian, holding
casting calls in London, Montreal and Sydney, Australia in addition to
Los Angeles, New York, Minneapolis, San Antonio and Tempe. Celebrity
judges will also join the talent scouts as they search for the world’s
funniest new comic.
From NBC’s "Last Comic Standing" to the laugh channel itself, Texas funny man Ralphie May is larger-than-life, rocking the mic with his trademark southern sass in an all-new, stand-up special. The World Premiere of "Ralphie May: Girth of a Nation" debuts on COMEDY CENTRAL Saturday, November 4 at 11:00 p.m.
After performances by previous Last Comic Standing winners Dat Phan, John Heffron and Alonzo Bodden and by former Last Comic Standing host Jay Mohr, Ty Barnett and Josh Blue both get to do one last stand-up routine before the results are announced. The winner of NBC’s hot summer series "Last Comic Standing" will
finally be revealed in a must-see 90-minute season finale airing
Wednesday, August 9 from 8:00-9:30 p.m. ET. Jay Mohr will make a
special guest appearance and perform, along with previous "Last Comic
Standing" winners Dat Phan, John Heffron and Alonzo Bodden. Anthony
Clark ("Yes, Dear") hosts the Emmy-nominated series, which was recently
picked up by NBC for another season and will return to the network next
On the penultimate episode of Last Comic Standing airing Tuesday, August 8 (9-10 p.m. ET) -
the night before the season finale — one more comic will be
eliminated, revealing the top two contenders left to compete for the
coveted title of "Last Comic Standing" along with an exclusive talent
contract with NBC and their own comedy special on Bravo.
After a stand-up comedy routine by Last Comic Standing All Star Jay London and The Biggest Loser’s Caroline Rhea, host Anthony Clark calls the four remaining comics to the stage. Anthony Clark tells Josh Blue and Ty Barnett that they will be performing tonight. The final two on stage are Chris Porter and Michele Balan. In a true Ryan Seacrest moment, Anthony Clark delays announcing the results until after the break.

FINAL FOUR PERFORM AND AMERICA VOTES – The votes have been counted, and viewers will learn which of the five finalists has been eliminated from the competition.

Since the season’s launch on May 30, Time Warner Cable customers have been able to interact with NBC’s Emmy nominated show on a variety of topics, marking the first time a major broadcast network launched a synchronized interactive television application for a prime-time show. Time Warner Cable viewers have been tuning in and interacting with the laugh out loud moments as the comedy showcase searches for the funniest people in America. Now, they’ll be able to help choose the winner.
Viewers will vote for the comedian they think should be NBC’s "Last Comic Standing" after the five finalists – Michele Balan, Ty Barnett, Josh Blue, Chris Porter and Roz – perform on an episode airing Tuesday, July 18 (9-10 p.m. ET).
