Travis Barker Ditches Blink-182 Tour

Travis Barker loves performing with Blink-182, but not enough to travel with the band to Australia. The Meet the Barkers star says he’ll be passing on the opportunity to accompany his band on tour in Australia as a tragic accident has left him deathly afraid of flying.

Travis Barker And DJ AM Critically Injured In A Plane Crash

Tragic news coming out of South Carolina. Travis Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were critically injured in a private plane crash, and the four other people onboard were killed. The plane crashed around midnight on Friday, September 19 after taking off from an airport in Columbia, South Carolina.

Reality TV Fans, Name That Pig!

It’s voting time! No, I’m not talking about the presidential primaries; I’m talking about Shanna Moakler’s pig race.
Former Meet the Barkers star, Shanna Moakler, is holding a piglet-naming election on her Myspace page. That’s right — just days after ex-hubby Travis Barker makes headlines for announcing the couple’s divorce, Moakler gets some attention, pig-style. Seems she’d rather focus on new beginnings than endings, and wants help from her fans in naming the newest addition to the family — her piglet.
Suggestions have been coming in fast and furious, with some expected low blows in the mix (Lindsay LoHam, Spamela Anderson, and frontrunning nasty dig, Paris Hilton), but Moakler has narrowed it down to five choices.
Fans (or even just the simply curious) can visit Moakler’s Myspace page and vote on one of the following names: Panda, Porkchop, Spider Pig, Flower, or Daisy.

It’s Splitsville for The Barkers

It’s goodbye for another former reality TV couple.Shanna Moakley and Travis Barker of MTV’s Meet the Barkers have officially called it quits.
This on-again, off-again couple has made off-againtheir permanent status this time. “I’m no longer with her,” Barker confirmed in a recent interview. “We actually divorced a few days ago.”
Don’t look to see him hitting the town with any new ladies anytime soon, though, as this dad is totally committed to what’s waiting for him at home. “I have a beautiful daughter at home, a beautiful son at home. That’s where my head is right now,” he says. “I don’t have time for anything else.” He’s, of course, referencingkids Landon and Alabama.
Meet the Barkers, which aired on MTV in 2005, featured blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and former Miss USA Shanna Moakley.
