Despite his recent victory on The Voice, Sawyer Fredericks has no intention of immediately moving to Los Angeles in order to pursue his music career. Instead, he will return to the farm, which his brothers and dad have been working on during the majority of Sawyer’s journey on The Voice. There, he will finally be able to enjoy some much-needed peace and quiet.
As the most recent winner of The Voice, Sawyer Fredericks now has the opportunity to make a name for himself outside of the reality TV world. Between his relatability and sheer natural talent, Sawyer should have no trouble achieving success in the competitive music industry. First, however, he wants to return home and take a break from the spotlight. His humble response to last night’s victory was expected, and yet, it proves why he’s garnered such an impressive following on Facebook.
Last night’s final performance episode was, at times, rather disappointing — particularly when the remaining contestants performed with their coaches. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t excellent candidates for the top four. They’ll have a few more chances to prove why they deserve to be in the finale, although, of course, their fates have already been sealed by iTunes downloads and fan votes.
Team Christina is out of contention…and this is definitely the biggest travesty of the current season of The Voice. The finale seems a bit pointless, since everybody has already agreed that Sawyer Fredericks is destined to win the competition (and Meghan Linsey is destined to take second place). Still, it’s fun to celebrate a season chock full of amazing artists.
Meghan Linsey and Sawyer Fredericks are basically guaranteed spots in the semifinals for The Voice, but beyond that, it’s hard to say what will happen. The show’s Facebook fans are overwhelming predicting a save session involving poor India Carney, who, although amazing, just doesn’t seem to have audience popularity necessary for success on this show. Who else is at risk for elimination?
Only five artists remain on The Voice, and, while all five singers are amazing, only two really have any chance of winning: Meghan Linsey and Sawyer Fredericks. Sawyer is the obvious frontrunner, but Meghan has been slowly gaining momentum all season. Facebook fans enjoy hearing from the rest of the competition, of course, but it’s only a matter of time before these other contestants go home. Who will make the greatest impression during tonight’s episode?
Christina Aguilera loves her fellow judges on The Voice, but as the only gal on the panel, she sometimes gets a bit lonely. The singer believes that the popular reality competition could greatly benefit from another female perspective and, based on the Facebook response to her recent complaints, her fans definitely agree!
Fans of The Voice have made it to the part of the season that nearly everybody has a love-hate relationship with: the top six. At this point, the worst singers have departed, leaving each Monday night episode chock full of amazing performances. But then Tuesday comes around and one of those phenomenal singers has to go home. Who, by the grace of Twitter, will get to stick around for another week?
At this point, it’s pretty obvious that Sawyer Fredericks is destined to win The Voice. He is the Tessanne Chin of season eight — Facebook fans have known from the beginning that this long-haired dude has what it takes to blow the competition away. And unlike previous winners of The Voice, he just might be able to rival American Idol champs in terms of record sales. First, however, he has to get this pesky competition out of the way!
The judging panel for The Voice’s eighth season is very entertaining, with Pharrell Williams proving that he can get along quite nicely with originals Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. That being said, the show’s Facebook fans really miss former judges CeeLo Green, Gwen Stefani, Usher and Shakira. Get ready for a fun Top 8 episode, because three of these alums will return to the show as mentors!
