The annual award shows have begun and this week, the People’s Choice Awards celebrated its 35th anniversarywith a strong representation from reality TV. Not only were American Idol alumi chosen by the public, but Dancing with the Stars and Deal or No Deal also took home awards this year.

The show will be hosted by Alonzo Bodden, winner of The Last Comic Standing and the red carpet special will be hosted by Jillian Reynolds.The Really Awards is followed immediately by the premiere of the Fox Reality Channel Original series “Gimme My Reality Show!”
The 60th Anniversary Emmy Awards opened with an introduction by Oprah Winfrey, followed by the five reality TV hosts doing a skit about how they had nothing to do. At the end of the skit, Jeff Probst, Ryan Seacrest, and Howie Mandel walked off the stage, leaving Tom Bergeron and Heidi Klum alone. Then, William Shatner joined the two on stage and helped Tom Bergeron pull apart Heidi Klum’s suit (to reveal a skimpier outfit below).
