The year 2008 was full of many great reality TV moments. From American Idol contestants constantly forgetting the lyrics to Paula Abdul remembering songs that hadn’t been sung yet, America’s top rated television show once again produced many unusual and bizarre moments. Dancing With The Stars seemed to be cursed this year with injury after injury. Or maybe it was a good curse, because ABC wasted no time in playing up the injuries to pull in big ratings.

The 2008 Fox Reality Channel ‘Really Awards’ Show Airs Tonight
Fox Reality Channel, the only all-reality, all-the-time cable and satellite network presents the “2008 Fox Reality Channel Really Awards” tonight at 10 PM ET. The show will be hosted by Alonzo Bodden, winner of The Last Comic Standing and the red carpet special will be hosted by Jillian Reynolds.The Really Awards is followed immediately by the premiere of the Fox Reality Channel Original series “Gimme My Reality Show!”

Jeff Probst Wins Emmy Award
The 60th Anniversary Emmy Awards opened with an introduction by Oprah Winfrey, followed by the five reality TV hosts doing a skit about how they had nothing to do. At the end of the skit, Jeff Probst, Ryan Seacrest, and Howie Mandel walked off the stage, leaving Tom Bergeron and Heidi Klum alone. Then, William Shatner joined the two on stage and helped Tom Bergeron pull apart Heidi Klum’s suit (to reveal a skimpier outfit below).
