Tamra Barney and her ex-husband Simon have had a really busy holiday season this year, and I’m not talking about mailing Christmas cards or doing last minute shopping. No, I’m talking about the back-and-forth insult slinging the two have been doing while their court battle rages on. The issue at hand is whether or not their three children should be allowed to appear on The Real Housewives of Orange County, and things have gotten increasingly nasty between the former spouses.See what I mean? B-U-S-Y.
The Real Housewives of Orange County underwent a major cast shake-up after last season, and now there are rumors swirling that a familiar face may be part of the new season. Heather McDonld, who’s appeared on several other television shows, has been photographed with the remaining OC Housewives, leading some to speculate that she’s now become a Housewife herself.
Sh*t just got real in the OC. Tamra Barney, star of The Real Housewives of Orange County, has fired back at her ex-husband Simon for his inflammatory claims about her hard partying ways, which he was using as part of his justification for why the pair’s three children should not appear on the show. Obvs, Tamra didn’t like his mention of her use of sex toys, among other things, so now the reality star has headed back to court to file her rebuttal.
If you ever want to know what it feels like to sign away your freedom, all you need to do is become a Housewife! RadarOnline got the dirt on what each Real Housewives of Wherever participant agrees to when she signs a contract with the show, and it is just a little insane – like, hidden microphones in the bathroom insane. While there’s nothing about giving away a firstborn child or anything, it’s definitely close.

Former Orange County Housewife Lydia McLaughlin Has Not Heard From Any Other Cast Members Since Her AnnouncementNovember 6, 2013 01:27:25 by Suzy Kerr
After announcing yesterday that she would not be returning for the ninth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Lydia McLaughlin has yet to learn what her co-stars think of her decision. The news just dropped a day ago, but it does seem rather surprising that none of the other women have chimed in with their thoughts on the matter, and Lydia confessed that she has also not personally heard from the other Housewives.
Was the non-stop drama too much for Lydia McLaughlin? Quite possibly, as The Real Housewives of Orange County star has decided to leave the series after just one season. After joining the cast for season eight, Lydia took a decidedly un-Housewife approach to being on the show – i.e., she stayed out of the drama, she didn’t get into any major catfights or feuds with the other women and she maintained a pretty positive vibe throughout the season. Hmmm, put like that, it kind of sounds like she wasn’t Housewife material after all, so perhaps she’s made the right decision.
Ever wonder how the Housewives on The Real Housewives franchise land their dream jobs of drinking, shopping and fighting with other people for a living? Wonder no more, because series creator and Bravo boss Andy Cohen is spilling his casting secrets for the hit reality shows in a new video on his blog.
