The ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are experienced in the ways of insult delivery, and Lisa Vanderpump is no exception. Fifty years ago, spitting in the neighboring housewife’s casserole or calling her a hussy behind her back might have sufficed, but in 2013, it’s all about passive-aggressive attacks on social media (or saying that someone’s lady bits are funky on national television). It’s called evolution, people. Anyway, there’s nothing more cutting than simply refusing to acknowledge another woman’s Twitter feed (am I right?), and that’s exactly what Lisa is doing to one of her co-stars. Ooh, BURN!
So if we were going to sum up this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills so far, it could be done in just a few words: catty, passive-aggressive, meaningless and sometimes boring BS. I’m just being honest here, folks. The cheating scandals involving Yolanda Foster’s ex and Kyle Richards’ hubby were pretty juicy, but other than that it’s been kinda boring. This week’s episode, called “Star of the Family” will be more of the same – that is, until Brandi (it’s always Brandi, isn’t it?) makes a shocking claim about Carlton.
Boy, Brandi Glanville certainly seems to be an open book lately, doesn’t she? The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star recently opened up about smooching her co-star, her falling out with Lisa Vanderpump, and now, LeAnn Rimes? Apparently, Glanville is hoping to end the feud with Rimes, and her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
Remember a couple of weeks ago when Brandi Glanville was on Watch Happens Live, and she very bluntly told Andy Cohen that Joanna Krupa had sex with Yolanda Foster’s husband Mohamed Hadid? Of course, the tabloids went nuts and the “revelation” launched a massive sh*t storm among the Housewives, with nearly everyone taking sides. Now that things have died down a little, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster is telling us what REALLY caused the end of her marriage – and it wasn’t Joanna Krupa.
Last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was nuts as usual, what with all the “bully” drama and the boob grabbing, but it was the cheating rumors surrounding Kyle Richards’ hubby Mauricio Umansky that got some folks really fired up. Both Kyle and Mauricio were forced to go on the defensive, with M even challenging the other Housewives to a lie detector test showdown after he learned they’d been gossiping about him.
There are a few words that I would never use to describe The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanvillle. Shy, modest, discreet, and inhibited are some of them, and week after week my girl B proves me right. One recent example of this came in the form of sexy smooch she shared with co-star Carlton Gebbia, as well as a frank discussion about her own (adventurous) sexuality.
What better way to bring all the Housewives together than with a little quality time in circus school? Yes, that is a real thing, and yes, the ladies of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills really did spend the day practicing aerial stunts and other circus-y type stuff. Of course, things didn’t exactly go smoothly, and even being suspended in the air by sheer fabric wasn’t enough to distract some of the women from the drama. Here’s what’s coming up on the next episode of RHOBH….
Brandi Glanville is no stranger to conflict, due in large part to a serious and seemingly incurable case of word vomit. It’s this inability to stop talking that has landed the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star in hot water with her co-stars more than once, and her latest beef with veteran RHOBH star Lisa Vanderpump recently prompted her to open up to People about the current status of their friendship (a term I’m using VERY loosely here).
It’s been more than four years since Brandi Glanville’s husband Eddie Cibrian cheated on her with country singer LeAnn Rimes, but Brandi still feels the pain. In a recent article for SoberBook.com, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star admits that she’s still going through the healing process and there are still times of “darkness.”
Remember back when the only way to insult someone was either to their face or behind their back? Thanks to Twitter and other forms of social media, it’s now easier than ever to put someone on blast AND get a million other people involved in the fray, too. (Ah technology, how I love thee.) And this type of public bashing is exactly what’s going on right now in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills-land, and Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards are right in the thick of it.
