If there’s one thing we like about The Voice (you know, besides the amazing singers and CeeLo Green’s hilarious outfits), it’s the show’s ability to shake things up. And that’s exactly what happened during last night’s elimination episode, when viewers had the opportunity to rescue their favorites through the controversial new Instant Save. Which singer did Twitter users decide to spare?
Adam Levine is usually a very stylish guy, but it appears he missed the fashion memo on last night’s episode of The Voice. CeeLo Green looked like Zorro, while Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera adeptly echoed his edgy vibe. Adam, on the other hand, looked like a total misfit in a Mr. Rogers cardigan.
Last night on The Voice, a whopping eight contestants were sent packing to narrow the playing field down to just 12 singers. It was a hard-fought battle, and there were a couple a shockers, but in the end, America and the coaches had to choose who they think has what it takes to go all the way. Here’s how each team stands after last night’s eliminations:
Hopefully Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have a huge room in their house that they can dedicate exclusively to trophies and awards, because country’s power couple certainly needs it after last night’s big wins at the CMAs. Blake, who’s also currently a coach on The Voice, took home the award for Male Vocalist of the Year, and his wife Miranda snagged Female Vocalist of the Year. I’m betting there will be some serious celebrating at the ol’ Shelton-Lambert homestead in the very near future.
If there’s one problem with airing a reality show live, it’s the impossibility of patrolling wayward judges like CeeLo Green. This was a definite problem last night on The Voice, when editors weren’t quick enough to censor a shot of CeeLo catching a quick smoke break…when he was supposed to be critiquing Team Adam’s Grey!
Adam Levine sure must be happy to have snatched up the beautiful vocals of Tessanne Chin! The singer and alleged front-runner on The Voice once again proved her talent with yet another amazing performance during the first live episode of the season.
Good thing The Voice has yet to move to its live round, as, given CeeLo Green’s current drug drama, there would be a huge elephant in the room — making the two-hour episode incredibly uncomfortable for everyone involved! That’s not to say CeeLo will manage to escape such awkwardness for good, but with the help of a nice new plea deal, he might actually be able to escape jail time and continue his gig as a reality TV judge.
Cee Lo Green is trying to avoid jail time but it is still unclear if it will be able to be possible or if he will end up behind bars, locked up. Cee Lo is currently facing drug charges and is anxiously awaiting the verdict of what his future will hold. Diamond bling or steel bars? The Buzz has the full story below. Tell us what you think.
Cee Lo Green may have been cleared of the sexual assault charges filed against him by a mystery woman, but he is still being charged with possession of Ecstasy. However, The Voice judge has pled not guilty to those charges as well!
Last year, Cee Lo Green was accused of slipping Ecstasy into a woman’s drink and then sexually assaulting her, although The Voice judge denied those claims, and even urged the police to fully investigate the situation. Now, it seems as though Green was telling the truth, because he has been cleared of the sexual assault charges, however, he will be charged with possession of Ecstasy. Details inside!
