In week four of The Voice blind auditions, Nicolle Galyon loves to sing country music and play the piano—a combination not commonly accepted in the Nashville music scene. She sings “You Save Me” while accompanying herself on her instrument of choice, and Adam turns his chair for her. “Stupid! You guys are dumb!” he shouts to the other judges. Blake jokes that he too loses his voice when Adam is around, but Nicolle is more than happy to be on Adam’s team.
Mathai is deviating from her family’s medical career path with “Rumor Has It” and Adam turns immediately, followed by Cee Lo and Blake. She ends up choosing Adam.
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, Nathan Parrett, Brian Fuente and Moses Stone all auditioned for The Voice and were selected by the Adam, Blake and Christina respectively to move on. Here is a short montage of their auditions.
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, Sarah Golden faced judgment from record labels in the past because they vowed to offer a contract if she would change her look. A rock ‘n’ roll powered performance of Lady Gaga’s “You and I” turns Cee Lo and Blake to the stage. “It’s an honest sound…it’s so real, it’s refreshing,” said Blake. However, she chooses Cee Lo as her coach.
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, Erin Willet, whose father has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, awaits her audition alongside her parents. She steps onstage with an upbeat rendition of “I Want You Back” that puts her on Blake’s team! “You have a very powerful voice and you had the crowd going,” said Blake.
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, Pip says the backward-facing chairs will help him because his young baby face seems to work against him. After the first phrases of “House of the Rising Sun,” Adam presses his button, followed by the other three judges! Blake tries to persuade Pip to his team by being the only guy, and Christina testifies that she’s “had success before Maroon 5 came along!”
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, Katrina Parker hasn’t been able to sing for the past two years because of her health. Thankfully she auditions with ”One of Us” that pushes Adam’s button. And while Cee Lo is getting his flirt on, Adam interrupts him with, “I win! It was different and I love that about you.”
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, Geoff McBride wears sunglasses because he tore his retina from a kickboxing injury in his youth. For the judges, he performs “Higher Ground” and not only gets the audience on their feet, but Christina and Cee Lo (at the last minute) turned toward the stage. “The very first note you hit blew me away,” said Christina. “You had amazing energy and you brought it the whole way through…I may not look like Cee Lo but I got soul too!” Geoff chooses to become Christina’s first recruit of the night.
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, James Massone sings “Find Your Love” and must choose between Cee Lo, Blake and Christina. “Adam, what happened to you?” jokes James. Everyone is shocked that the guy who turned out the R&B hit is this young white guy! After breaking down on stage, James choose Team Cee Lo.
Last night on night three of the blind auditions for The Voice, Erin Martin, who made the jump from modeling to music, but record deals continue to comment that she needs development. “For once, I don’t get judged on how I look,” she said to Carson before the audition. Her unique voice while singing ”Hey There Delilah” gets the attention of Blake and Cee Lo and, of course, Cee Lo starts to flirt. “Quite naturally, you belong to me, don’t you agree?” he joked.
