If you’ve ever made it through an entire episode of Toddlers and Tiaras, you may have wished for the hasty arrival of child protective services. Although none of the children have yet been snatched away by social workers, one Toddlers and Tiaras mom currently risks losing custody of her little diva. Don’t get your hopes up yet; a long custody battle awaits.

Honey Boo Boo’s Mom Has A Record — The Criminal Kind

Who would have thought that someone that sells her child’s looks for money doesn’t have the most illustrious backstory. Seems that Honey Boo Boo’s mom, June Shannon, has a history with the cops. So will this affect the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” star’s quest for pageant glory?
According to the “New York Daily News,” June Shannon has an arrest record in Georgia from 2008. She was arrested for theft and contempt of court. Allegedly the theft charges may involve child support as June was involved in a number of child support cases at time according to “Starcasm.com.”
Now, mind you that this all happened before June figured out that she didn’t have to worry about child support if her child actually supported her. So six-year-old Alana Thompson, more commonly known as Honey Boo Boo, went on the pageant circuit.
Honey Boo Boo went viral when a video clip of her downing a Mountain Dew/Red Bull combo that sent her zinging onto the stage with uber-childlike energy.
“I want to win because I want to make money,” the six-year-old said. “A dollar make me holler, honey boo boo!” That’s a catchphrase if ever we heard one. They learn so young now.
June Shannon defended the drink, of course.
“A lot of pageant moms and people know what the ‘special juice’ is. Everybody has their different concoction. ‘Special juice’ is to help energize her,” June said.
Yeah, it energized her to holler for the almighty dollar for June. Of course we’ve seen kids at Disneyland more hopped up on sugar than that and we’re not publicly calling them out. So is it wrong to sugar up your kids for money or should we stick to what most Americans do and sugar them up for free?

She might have questionable taste in beverages (ahem, go-go juice), but Honey Boo Boo Child does appear to have decent taste in musicians! During an outing with Access Hollywood, the former Toddlers and Tiaras star confessed her distaste for all things Justin Bieber. And the Biebs certainly isn’t the only celeb on Honey Boo Boo’s hit list!

Honey Boo Boo Child Her Usual Hyper Self On Extra
