Jeffrey Steele is a well-known Nashville songwriter and producer, who is going to be a judge and mentor on NBC’s Nashville Star. His songs have reached the incredible number of over 30 million airplays. He has written songs for Montgomery Gentry, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, LeAnn Rimes, Rascal Flatts, and VanZant.

Jeffrey Steele is a two time BMI Songwriter of the Year and three time Nashville Songwriters Association International’s writer of the year. His song “What Hurts the Most,” which was recorded by Rascal Flatts, was
nominated for a Grammy for the best country song. Some of his other hits include “My Wish,” “Brand New Girlfriend,” “Help Somebody,” “Everytime I Hear Your Name,” and “Everyday You Saved My Life.”
