Monica is foremost a tennis champion! She holds nine grand slam singles titles and was the top-ranked tennis player in the world. She was ranked the 13th greatest players of all time by Tennis Magazine, she won the 1996 Australian open and is also a Goodwill Ambassador for the Laures Sports Foundation and the Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Microalgae Spirulina Against Malnutrition (IIMSAM).
