Survivor: Worlds Apart Interview — So Kim Discusses Getting Cut From Season 29

So Kim, the White Collar contestant who was the first person voted off Survivor: Worlds Apart, was never actually supposed to be on this season. Initially, So was on the cast of last season — Survivor: San Juan Del Sur — with her sister for the second Blood Vs. Water. But moments before that game began, So and her sis were cut from the competition because of a health concern. So was crushed, but only for a short time because CBS wanted her for season 30. And they wanted her badly. In our one-on-one chat with So, she discussed how quickly she was asked to be on season 30, talked about her silly lie about the phony neutral beans decision and explained why she knew her torch was going to be snuffed first. Plus, she revealed why she didn’t necessarily feel like she belonged on the White Collar tribe.

Survivor: Worlds Apart Recap — Season 30 Begins With Amazing Premiere

30 seasons. 15 years. Can you believe it?!?! Survivor: Worlds Apart kicked off the reality show’s milestone season with 18 all-new castaways split up by profession and approach to life: White Collar, Blue Collar and No Collar. Host Jeff Probst has been boasting on all sorts of interviews that this cast is possibly the best in the show’s history. Will this season live up to his big statement? If the 90-minute premiere is any indication, Probst may be right. These contestants are very compelling based on this first episode alone. And Tribal Council… Wow! What a great way to start the season! Best premiere ever? Eh, probably not. But it was fun nonetheless.
