Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, with minors in French and Italian, from the University of Georgia, Parvati went on to make her mark in the Los Angeles boxing community and started entering competitions in 2004! With the help of some close friends, she went on to start the non-profit organization “Knockouts for Girls,” which helps to give underprivileged girls the chance at scholarships, as well as boxing lessons!
