Comfort Fedoke

Comfort Fedoke, 21, was born in Dallas, Texas, and lived for a few years in Lagos, Nigeria. Fedoke, who specializes in hip-hop, attended Booker T. Washington Performing Arts High School in Dallas. She was a dancer on the local show “Dallas Dance Club 21.” She currently resides in Los Angeles and recently appeared on GLEE.

Fedoke started as a street dancer at age 13, and she loved to battle other crews with her dance brothers. She taught herself how to dance by watching breaking videos and emulating Michael and Janet Jackson. She said that always being the only girl who got down with the boys helped stoke the fire and competitive drive she still has.

Since making it into the Top 10 of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, Fedoke has appeared in the Michael Jackson tribute tour and has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Brian Friedman, Tabitha and Napoleon Dumo, Chuck Maldonado, Miley Cyrus and Rosero. Fedoke is also a writer and is now pursuing a career as a recording artist; she’s working on a single that should be dropping soon and has many upcoming performances in the works.
