Tommy Stanley, 23, is originally from Cushing, Oklahoma, but his most recent residence was on the USS Kitty Hawk. Tommy worked on the USS Kitty Hawk as an engineer, where he was stationed in Japan. When he was selected to be on Nashville Star from a video audition, Tommy traveled from Japan to Virginia in order to take a leave from duty to pursue a music career.
